Our Story

Rooted in Thailand, Established in Strood

Maliwan grew up in Phitsanulok, Thailand, and began her massage career in 2009 after training at Thai Massage Phuket School. She later ran her own massage business in Rawai, Phuket, before moving to the UK in 2013.

In 2020, she established Maliwan Thai Therapeutic Massage with a simple idea: to bring the techniques and experience she'd gained in Thailand to a place where every treatment could still feel personal. What began with Maliwan has since grown into a team of qualified therapists across Strood and Hoo.

Despite that growth, Maliwan is still very much a hands-on therapist. She splits her time between both locations, treating clients herself and making sure the standards she started the business with remain at the heart of every visit.
